Would you like to learn Scottish Country Dancing?
Here is your opportunity.
Our Beginners Classes
are held each Tuesday evening from the second
Tuesday
in September until the end of May, in the Courtauld Room at Potten End Village
Hall, alongside the normal club evening, starting at 8.15 pm.
The course of classes
runs on a termly basis for approximately 1 hour. You will learn the steps, the formations and a
new dance each week. After an hour, the beginners join the main club for
refreshments and then everyone enjoys dancing that evening’s beginners’ dance
together.
The only requirements are a pair of soft shoes (trainers will do
for the first couple of weeks), a willingness to move and an enjoyment of
Scottish Music! Besides being a great exercise for both your body and mind, it is fun too. You don’t need to be
Scottish and you don’t need to bring a partner!
The first evening is free and then there is a small charge of £3
per lesson with a discount for paying per term in advance.
If you would like further information,
or just to chat about what is involved, please telephone Jane Rose on 01923 261 167
