This class provides an Introduction to Scottish Country Dancing covering the key steps and formations that will enable students to move into the club social dancing and join the Improve your Dancing Classes.  More details are provided here.  The cost is £9/class payable in 5 week blocks.  But we don’t ask you to pay until your third week with us so you have a chance to find out if you enjoy Scottish Country Dancing. A discount is applicable for club members.

The class runs in the Courtauld Room at Potten End Village Hall from 8pm to about 9pm.  Students join the social dancing in the main hall from 9pm to 10pm initially for just a couple of dances but as experience grows for the whole of the second half of the evening.

This class runs every Tuesday from 10 September 2024 until 20 May 2025.  Students typically can move out of the class into social dancing and other classes after 10 weeks but it will vary.  There is no class on 15 October 2024, 17, 24 and 31 December 2024, 28 January 2025 and 29 April 2025.

You are welcome to join the class at anytime during the year although the best time to start learning Scottish Dancing is in September.
