Garden Dances

Garden Dances, kindly hosted by club members, are held on Saturdays (7:15 for 7:30 pm) in June and July each year.

Please bring refreshments to share as well as a plate and glass or cup (the club will no longer provide disposable plates and glasses).   Please try to notify your hosts of your intention to attend.

It is also helpful if you can bring with you a folding chair or two.

In the event of rain, we will try to post alternative arrangements for the dance on the website as soon as it becomes obvious that they are needed.

IMPORTANT: Car parking: Only space for 8 cars in front of the house at the end of the lane. The lane must not be blocked. Please park in village if possible (no need for everyone to carry seats up as there should be some available). It’s a short walk up the lane.

Given the distance to this venue the Garden Dance will be late afternoon/early evening allowing people to return in daylight.  Do consider car sharing for this trip.  If the weather does not cooperate there is a barn with a smooth concrete floor which will be used.

We will aim to start dancing at 4.30pm but do arrive between 3.00pm and 3.30pm and take a walk to the lake (with chance of rowing on the lake!), see the lambs, tour the barn or just sit with a cup of tea.
